Welcome to the Lanchester Library pride month!
The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.
This page is still being updated, so check back for new content!
In the meantime, please check out some of the LGBT+ fiction books we have to borrow from the library all year round (not just in June) or check out our physical stand at the entrance to the Library.
