At Coventry University London there is a recently refurbished Library with professionally qualified staff to support you throughout your studies.
During term time the Library is open 8am to 9.55pm, Monday to Friday; and 1pm to 7pm on Saturday. During the vacation, we are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday only. We may close during the vacation for staff training, so please check before visiting.
The Library is available to all staff and students of Coventry University London, and provides access to print and electronic resources, as well as spaces to study and bookable groupwork rooms. The print collection is largely focussed on supporting teaching activities, and includes all materials on module reading lists. We also have background and additional reading materials, as well as a selection of resources to support mental health and wellbeing, career development, study and language skills.
Students and staff are welcome to borrow from the collection. A small selection of print periodicals and newspapers are held in the Library to support students on particular courses and these are used on a reference basis. Students and staff are also encouraged to borrow items from the Lanchester Library in Coventry, that can be requested free of charge, in addition to making use of inter-library loans, document supply and SCONUL Access schemes.
We also have a wide range of electronic resources, including e-books, e-journals and subscription databases, which are part of Coventry University’s subscriptions. These support all our courses, and are accessed via Locate, our library catalogue. In the Library we also provide access to Bloomberg via a dedicated PC.
