In the Library, we have a selection of computers and software that you can use for your studies. These are located in our different study spaces.
The majority of these are 'first-come, first-serve' so you never need to book.
If you opt for using one of our Windows laptops, or prefer using your own laptop or Apple MacBook, there are plenty of spaces for you to work within the Library. These include the Silent Study Room (approx. 37 spaces), Group Study Spaces and Huddle Rooms.
Find out more below, or check out our Library Help Videos (on the right-hand side).
These two Windows PCs are located outside the Silent Study Room. Use these if you need to find information urgently, check your emails or are between classes.
You can use either of the Quick Access Terminals at any time, there's no need to book.
We have 6 stand-alone Windows PCs that you can use.
These are located in the Silent Study Room and they are free to use any time.
We also have 2 Apple Macs that you can use.
These are located in the Silent Study Room and both of these are free to use any time.
Our dedicated Bloomberg PC Terminal gives you a real-world experience of the business industry. It is located at the back of the Library, next to the Huddle Rooms.
The Library does not administer the Bloomberg PC or provide logins.
To access the Bloomberg PC, please read the guidance provided here.
Huddle Room Screens
Each of our two Huddle Rooms have large screens you can use. These are excellent for when you're working in groups or giving presentations.
You can connect your laptop to the screen using the Kramer VIA software - to do this, follow the instructions provided on screen, or speak to a member of the Library Team.
