Group Room 1 on the ground floor is useful for students with limited mobility. This room is used by all university students and currently has a standard set up with no adjustable furniture. Book this room using the Room Bookings section of the library website; and it can be booked for sole use, or with a helper. This room can be booked for up to 2 hours.

Group Room 7 on the first floor is set aside for the sole use of students known to the Disability Team in the Hub. The room is intended for quiet study for individual use, or with a helper, and is located on our silent floor for minimum noise distraction.

How to book Group Room 7
The room can be booked via the Welcome Desk; the Live Chat service on the homepage of Locate, or by phoning Customer Services on 024 7688 7575.
The room must be booked by the student or in the student's name.
The room can be booked for up to 4 hours at a time. If you need to extend the time after 4 hours you can check with the Welcome Desk in person, or by phone or Live Chat as mentioned above. An extension of 2 hours max can be granted if nobody has booked the room at that time.
