The scheme aims to make sure that you get the essential materials that you need to get started on your course straight away.
I had been provided with textbooks, software and hardware. Anything related towards my course.
I wouldn’t have been able to go on several trips without the scheme being in place.
As a student, money’s tight so it’s good to be able to just get this academic resources without having to pay anything which is great and really enhances the learning.
I’ve received an accredited membership for the IET.
We get free membership to the Royal Society of Biology and British Pharmacological Society.
I have friends from other universities who aren’t entitled to a scheme like this and so they’ve had to spend hundred on textbooks, on equipment and software whereas here at Coventry it’s provided to us completely free of charge.
