Welcome to Coventry University Library.
On this page you will find all of the key information you need to get you started with using our services.
Due to Covid-19, services being offered physically on campus are subject to change.
For the most up-to-date information about how our services are running, visit the FAQs page.
Locate is the name of the library's search tool. Use it to search across all of the library collections. You can use it to find books (print and electronic) and journal articles. Simply type your search terms into the search bar, and select the type of resource you would like to find from the drop-down menu.
Locate is also where you can manage your library account, for example to view when your books are due for return.
Visit the LibGuides homepage to find our central hub of information about the Library, where you will find links to all of the pages mentioned on this page, plus links to:

During the first two weeks of this semester, you will have the opportunity to take a tour of the Library building. Find a time that suits you on our events calendar (below) and register for your tour!
As well as all of the resources available on Locate, you also have a library guide specifically for your subject area, called a LibGuide. On your LibGuide, you will find a collated list of the online resources we have that relate to your course, as well as professional guidance about finding and using information for your studies, and details of the librarian who can help you with finding information.
Access the full list of subject guides to find your LibGuide.
Our team of Academic Liaison Librarians are running a series of webinars. Topics include:
