Proofreading is the process of finding and correcting mistakes in the text before it is printed or put online. A program/website that you can use is Grammarly. Grammarly scans your text for common grammatical mistakes (like misused commas, typos etc). There is a free version that most people use and a paid one if you require it for more complex issues.
