Reference Management Software

Reference management software helps you keep track of your citations as you work and and then helps you generate in-text citations and reference lists/bibliographies in different referencing styles when it's time to publish. The University subscribes to two products: RefWorks and EndNote​.

 

New RefWorks

A web-based solution that can help you to:

  • Easily organise and manage references from a range of sources.
  • Straightforwardly create lists of references (or bibliographies), in the correct format, for use in your research.

EndNote

A desktop solution, downloadable from Apps Anywhere, and which can be installed onto any university owned PC or laptop. It can help you to:

  • Easily organise and manage references from a range of sources.
  • Straightforwardly create lists of references (or bibliographies), in the correct format, for use in your research.
  • Organise references for major pieces of work, including systematic reviews.

Other tools
