AWS offers bookable 45-minute appointments to all students. These are available Face-to-Face, on Microsoft Teams and Zoom, or by e-mail and can be done on either a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups.

Reflecting on your placement e.g. your placement schools behaviour policy, approach to staff development etc.:

Kate joined the AWS team in August 2023. Her PhD research, undertaken at Bangor University, explored author identity performances and online book culture through practice-led research. While at Bangor, Kate taught modules related to media, creative writing, and research methods. She also worked within Bangor’s Teaching and Learning team as a Peer Writing Mentor, where she supported students in areas such as essay structure, incorporating analysis, and integrating sources into their writing.
