I have been an academic writing developer at CU Coventry since 2015. In this role, I teach students in all subject areas and at all levels about numerous topics related to writing at university, both in one to one and classroom contexts. Prior to working at CU Coventry, I worked as an EAP and EFL teacher in Spain, China and the UK.
I am currently working with Hilary Nesi and Benet Vincent on a hyperlinks project that aims to help those providing written feedback to students in H.E.
In my role as academic writing developer at CU Coventry, I work with students across all subject areas in both classroom and one to one contexts. I cover a variety of topics related to writing, from ‘introduction to writing at university’ to ‘using sources effectively in your writing’.
Prior to joining CU Coventry in 2017, I worked as an academic writing tutor at the Centre for Academic Writing at Coventry University and as an EAP Tutor for Pre-sessional English. I have a background in Applied Linguistics and EAP with extensive experience of working with students from all year groups across a variety of settings.
