Studying Effectively: Studying Off Campus

Guidance for studying whilst off campus

You have access to over 300,000 electronic books and 64+ million journal articles through the library catalogue Locate.

You can find some tutorials on how to use Locate and also access subject specific resources and guidance through your Subject Guide.

Want a book we only have in physical format? Submit a You Choose request to see if we can get hold of an ebook version. Want a journal article that isn't part of our subscriptions? Request this through the Document Supply Service.

Some online resources are only available on campus but not to worry, we have ways around this so that you can still access them! You can use a VPN or Remote Anywhere connection to access these resources. Find out how to do this in the IT User Guides.
