This section is about how to reference articles and reports. You must include an in-text citation and an entry in your list of references for all sources you use in your work.

If an article does not have a DOI and you have accessed it on a big database (e.g. EBSCO, ProQuest, JSTOR etc.) through Locate, or if you have read a journal article in print, you do not need to include a web address:

Some online articles have article numbers instead of page numbers. In this case, after the issue number, write the word Article and then the article number.
For a Cochrane review, use 'Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews' in place of the journal title. There is no need to include the issue or article number.
