Study spaces can be pre-booked here.
Click "Book a Group Study Room"
This screen shows which rooms are available, and when. Blue means the room is available, Yellow will show any bookings you have created, and Red shows any time the room is not available.
Click on one of the rooms on the right hand side to bring up more information about that room.
You can also book each individual room from this screen.
You can apply filters for the rooms that you want to book.
Click "Go to date" in order to select which date you want to book the room.
Select the time you want to book the room for, and click on it.
The system will automatically book a two hour time slot. You can change this in the drop down at the bottom of the screen.
You can only reserve one booking, and 120 minutes per day. If you exceed this LibCal will tell you and not allow you to book. Click the rubbish bin to delete a booking if this message appears. You can, however, book rooms at the same time over separate days.
Click submit times to submit the booking. You will need to log in with your university user name and password to confirm the booking.
After this you will need to submit a title for the meeting, along with how many people are attending.
You will have to review the rest of the information provided to make sure it's correct and then make sure you select "Submit my Booking."
You will receive an email to confirm your booking. If you do not receive this, check your spam folder before contacting the library with any further questions.
There are two ways to book an Academic Liaison Librarian, depending on whether or not you know who your Academic Liaison Librarian is. If you do, click book appointment. If you don't, choose your subject from the drop down menu and book an appointment from your subject page
To book an appointment straight from a subject page simply click "Book Appointment" under your Academic Liaison Librarian's profile picture.
You can select which Academic Liaison Librarian you would like to make an appointment with.
From this screen you can either change your librarian, or choose a date and time to book an appointment.
The next page allows you to double check your appointment details, and then you will need to supply your name and email.
After the appointment is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email to whichever email you submitted.
