LibKey Nomad is a browser extension enabling quick access to library-licensed content and open access articles when searching outside of Locate and the Library databases. You can link to articles found on such websites as such as Wikipedia and PubMed using LibKey Nomad. |
The extension is compatible with most browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.
The LibKey Nomad logo will be installed in your extensions at the top right of your browser.
Once installed the LibKey will appear on your browser following a search and depending on the content, you will be presented with different options to access the publication. This could be a direct Download PDF link or Article link to content on a Coventry University database. If the article is unavailable in full text through the library subscriptions or Open Access, the Access Options takes you to a link to request the article through our Document Supply Service.
Below is an example of the three access scenarios on Wikipedia.
