Academic integrity is a commitment to being honest, fair and respectful to others in your academic community throughout your studies. This includes properly acknowledging other people's ideas in your work, not cheating in exams, taking responsibility for doing your work yourself and encouraging our peers to do the same.

One of the key skills you will need to develop as you study on your degree course is how to properly acknowledge other people's ideas in your work. This is called citing and referencing, and is a core part of academic integrity. The workshops below will help you to better understand why this is such an integral part of academic study and how to do it properly.
