Welcome to Coventry Open Press

A new Open Access scholarly press at Coventry University

Coventry Open Press has been established to embrace the wealth of opportunities provided by Open Access scholarly publishing. Based in, and supported by, the Open Research and Scholarly Publications Team in Coventry University’s Library, Coventry Open Press exists to:

•         broaden awareness of Coventry University’s research achievements
•         underpin Coventry’s reputation as a centre of excellence for specific disciplines, and offer scholars in other institutions support in publishing   their research in these areas
•         provide an outlet for transdisciplinary research
•         widen potential readership by publishing according to Open Access principles
•         further cement the University’s place in the community by publishing locally-relevant research
•         help meet OA requirements set by research funders
•         give early career researchers and scholars a rigorous but safe space in which to explore scholarly publishing.
