Using the Library: Return

In person

You can return items to our library through our self-service return machine. Please make sure when returning any CD or DVD that the correct disk is in the case. 

The return machine which is located on the ground floor, operates on a traffic light system.

1. Place one book on the conveyor belt when the green light displays.

2. The red light will then display as your book is checked in and taken along the conveyor belt into the Sortation Room. Books must be returned one at a time. Whilst the red light displays please do not place any books onto the conveyor belt.

3. Place the next book when the light has turned green again and the door has opened. 

4. If you would like a receipt, press the “Print receipt” button once you’ve returned all your items, otherwise you press "Finish".
